Staci + Shea

SCROLL DOWN

Staci + Shea

ketchup please

What happens when two Ketchup (Heinz only please) lovers meet?  Well, clearly they fall madly and deeply in love.

Staci and Shea met at during work.  Staci's office was undergoing an expansion into the unit next door.  For weeks Shea's company had been working next door preparing the new space.  The two of them had yet to cross paths, until one day the wall came down........and everything changed.

Staci was managing the expansion, and became more involved with the project.  Once the workers moved over into the existing office space, Staci started to take notice. Staci tried to continue on with her work, but she found it hard not to glance his way (like all the time).  She started doing weird things, like dressing up and actually washing her hair.  Shea started to take notice and he too started doing weird things: shaving and wearing deodorant. Shea was told not to 'hit on the client', and so he held off on pursuing Staci.

One day, Shea 'conveniently' gave Staci his cell phone number in case she "needed to reach him" (for work of course).

Over the course of the project, they would speak here and there, mainly work related.  Eventually, as time would have it, there had to come a day when the office expansion was completed.

Staci couldn't believe that Shea hadn't made a move yet.  After he left on that last day, Staci was concerned she would never see Shea again.  She decided to text him and tried to initiate small talk.  She thanked him for all the work he (and his team) had done, and very un-subtly started flirting with him.  Shea finally took the bait and asked her out.

Their first date was at a Mexican restaurant. They both ordered fajitas, which seems pretty normal.  But then something unthinkable happened.....Shea asked the waitress for ketchup.  Ketchup, for his fajitas.  Staci couldn't believe that someone used ketchup as randomly, and as much, as she did.  From that day forward, it was game over.

The Proposal

The Proposal

The Proposal

Shea asked Staci to go play 'catch' in January. It was fairly cold out and Staci was slightly suspicious, but she went along with it. Staci started putting on her glove and getting ready and Shea was impatient and kept trying to throw the ball. Staci said "hold on, I am still putting my glove on". She noticed that there was writing on the softball, but didn't say anything. Shea threw the ball, Staci caught it and threw it back. Shea threw it back, Staci threw it back. Shea gave Staci a look of disappointment, and then threw it again. This time he asked her "is this the same ball you use in your league?". Staci finally picked up the ball and read it. "Marry Me?" was written on it. Staci looked up and Shea was holding a stuffed animal with a ring box. The rest is history.......

Our Registry

We already have plenty of household items and there is not a lot we need.  Some of you may know that our trip to Mexico got canceled last year due to a serious hurricane.  We would love to make our honeymoon our second chance at paradise.

We have taken a less traditional route and have done a Honeymoon registry.  - please click on the link below to view our registry.
